Tasting notes

Sangiovese, one of the greatest native Italian wine varietal, expresses itself in all its strength and elegance on the suitable territory of Villamagna, where the proximity between sea and mountains and hills perfectly exposed to the southeast create the ideal conditions for the cultivation of the vine.

After the clusters were harvested manually in the last decade of September, they were softly pressed and the musts macerated at controlled temperature for quindici days, to extract the typical elegant red colour. The wine then continue aging for nine months in steel tanks and for three months in the bottle.

To the eyes it presents itself with the typical and fascinating bright ruby red. The nose is pleasantly spicy with hints of jam and berries, which recur in the mouth where the finish is long and pleasantly warm. Ideal with aged cheeses, first courses and both white and red meats.
