Tasting notes

The Primitivo of the Idi Di Marzo estate was born on the sunny and red plains of Manduria, in southern Puglia, on the hill of Italy, where the De Cerchio Family has been growing vines already since three generations.

The grapes reach an optimal ripeness in the second half of September, when the manual harvesting allows to select the most valuable clusters in the vineyard. Once in the cellar the grapes are softly pressed and a long maceration in steel vats is carried out at controlled temperature for about twenty days, which allows to extract its typical softness and intensity from each single Primitivo grape. The wine continues its aging for six months in steel tanks and for three months in the bottle.

At the sight you are captured by a deep red with fleshy veins that descend slowly from the glass. A floral hint of violet prevails on the nose while in the mouth it warms you and fascinates you with intense flavors of blackberry, plum and a finish of black cherry. It goes perfectly with any type of meat.
