Tasting notes

The Chardonnay, the most international of white grape varieties, acquires unique organoleptic properties on the sunny hills of Villamagna. Although it expresses itself best in cold climates, the long days of light mitigated by the fresh sea breezes and the proximity to the mountain create a microclimate that allows the Chardonnay to give very special sensations.

The harvest is manual and very early, in the last days of August, when the bunches have developed the right aromatic charge while maintaining a pleasant acidity. In the cellar the grapes are softly pressed, cold macerated and fermented at controlled temperature. A short refinement of two months in steel vats and one month in bottle closes the circle.

At sight we have a beautiful bright yellow gold color with a banana nose and tropical fruit which we then find once in the mouth with a pleasant and rightly persistent finish. It is an easy wine to pair that certainly gives its best with fish-based aperitifs.
